I am amazed how persistent this idea really is… Microsoft's new vision: a computer in every... coffee maker?
C’mon, the reason for the failure is that the engineer cannot put the code in the box? Really? That would be a relatively simple engineering issue, and takes 6 months tops. That is not the problem. The real issue is that the value proposition is so weak that a consumer does not want to pay the cost differential. So all this work goes into a product and it is “dead weight”. DEAD WEIGHT. I am half thinking to start a list of all these “new ideas” with start and crash date, just for the joy of it. And I am not a cynical man! |
