I have managed teams and operations in Europe, the USA, and Brazil. I am European, and have lived for 10 years in the US. I know how that works.

I know how to treat a Frenchman differently from an Indian or a Chinese. I know how to work remotely, and how to get others to adopt that leadership style as well. I know how to travel, spend more than 100,000 miles per year on a plane without missing a beat.

I have lived in a diverse community in Chicago, IL, USA, where the neighborhood was made up of Hispanics, Korean, Chinese, African-American, Polish, Ukrainians, French and Caucasian Americans with a sprinkling of expats (the place is called “Ukrainian Village”).

I know how to engage with business partners from different regions and cultural backgrounds. I know how to communicate with them and get things done without hurting feelings or ruffling feathers.

I am married to an Irish woman, and we are raising our son in a multi-lingual and multi-cultural fashion.
