In 1993, I achieved the then highest formal German education in Economics, the Diplom Kaufmann at University of Paderborn. My focus was Production Management and Applied IT, augemented by Applied Taxation.

My thesis was concerned with the application of simulation theory to a real-world problem: the optimization of a material flow system.

Remember that in the German rating system "1" is the best and "5" the lowest rating. I finished 2nd in my IT course and amoung the 10 best in Production Management.
