 As part of my project portfolio with Connected Home and ACT, we developed a rather well-received prototype called the "Microwave TV". Laugh all you want at the concept, there are so many amazing uses to this platform that I am sure we will see more in this direction.
The prototype was developed by the engineers at AEA (Advanced Electronic Applications), the department I was asked to take over in 2005. With the help of the product developers in my old Connected Home department, we were able to position and market it effectively. The prototype had been wandering around without a taker until then. I am rather proud of this little gadget, since it provides several avenues for much bigger things to come. And the public rather loved it. |
